Yeah, it's the schools from NY down through NC that have a real problem

Georgia, Tennessee, Florida and Alabama have dabbled in New Jersey and Maryland. My guess is that is about to take off.

Nah, we'll just start pulling even more elite players from New Jersey/Maryland/Pennsylvania.

Won't hurt Ohio State much, but it will sure as hell hurt Rutgers/Maryland/Penn State.

Oh trust me that hurts tOSU. They went apeshit when Jarrett Guarantano committed to us over them and Rutgers (his father's school). Right now, Rutgers et al are so small time that tOSU feels it has divine rights to New Jersey recruits as well as PA and MD.

757 (Hampton Roads) won't be under-evaluated anymore

We got Haskins. I think we'll be ok.

Penn State does, and Maryland always battles hard for them in Maryland. Maryland and Rutgers have hired hot shot recruiters, they will be trying to land those in-state kids. This opened the floodgates.

Camps in Bethesda MD, Philly and Newark?

Yep

I have no idea how the dynamics of this are going to work. So now Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and South Carolina are all going to have their own camps in South Florida? So, if you are a coach at FIU/FAU/UCF you will work like 100 camps a year if you choose?

Whole thing will be something to watch.

But hey, it's all for the kids.

Except for the ones that would be seen by traveling college coaches in April during their high school spring practice. Those kids don't deserve it. That's evil recruiting.

Eh. They can only spread themselves out so much plus they still have to take care of their home territory. It's much ado about nothing IMO.

Just another way for the SEC schools to spend more media $ to show we're "not for profit."

I see SC setting up camps in the MD/DC/VA area, as well as PA, NJ and south FL. We have the $ so might as well. I wonder if we'll go to ATL or NC though, b/c those aren't that far away, but it might make it really easy for recruits to attend.

Dumb ruling until they get rid of the "Saban rule".

How they can think that it is okay for coaches to be face to face with recruits at outside locations, but not at the kid's school is beyond stupid.

The rumor before the initial ban was that UGA was going to have one in the Georgia Dome. Don't know how true that is, but it wouldn't be out of the question imo.

Still have yet to read a good explanation for why Satellite Camps are humanitarian and "for the kids" while visiting and watching high school spring practice is so bad it should be OUTLAWED. It makes zero sense, except that certain coaches hate Nick Saban.
