Calling it right now. The rankings may not show it(beating each other kind of hurts the possibility). But by the end of the year, 8 teams will be considered top 14 by the power rankings like Saragin, Massey, whatever dumb thing ESPN does to try to look cool.
All but Miss State in the West will be there obviously. We all wondered about the Aggies but darn they impressed.
Georgia from the East, and either Missouri or Florida. Tennessee can't, the rankings will by"pass" them.

Lucky the playoff committee will be in a position to see through one or two losses and take the champion in a playoff, a 2 loss sec team would definitely be deserving this year, the depth of the league is not going away anytime soon.

Agreed. Ohio State will go undefeated surely with that insanely bad schedule. Everyone else will lose one and no conference has a remotely good enough schedule to compete with one of the West teams. A two loss East winner could be an issue though if that happened.

Our defense is enough to win with a decent offense. We have three national titles worth of offensive minds running the offense. It's surely possible. Remember we do still have highly touted recruits at every single position. Muschamp was just that bad. His four Qb's(all highly touted) last week all had better games then they ever had a UF. Combined for almost 1,000 yards, ten TD's and three of the seven(Driskel, Harris, Grier) are in the top 7 in Quarterback efficiency. I think Mac and Doug have proven they can win with talent, and UF has it. Add in the East is rather pedestrian this year outside of Georgia it's not inconceivable. Our Oline sucks, but we've got players everywhere else.
