A.J. Johnson shouldn't even be on the list, much less counted as better than Benardrick. Maybe if you were doing a 2 deep for the East...and 4 LBs on the defense. Maybe.

Mitchell over Coates, ehhh... Like cro said, he is underrated and, IMO, Coates is very overrated. I don't really agree with that one, but not enough to argue too hard about it. Michell needs to stay healthy.

I don't think I'd have DePriest bold over Wilson. Be skeptical of his stats all you want, but Trey's are not even in the same stratosphere. He doubles up Trey in almost every statistical category. It's one thing to make the argument when the stats are very close, but not with this kind of gap.

Those cannot be the best DTs we have in the East. I'm not even sure of everything I have to pick from, but I know that if those two are the best we have, this game wouldn't even be worth playing. I can think of 3 or 4 on Georgia's roster alone I'd rather have.

Feel about the same way on the Safeties. This is the SEC right? And they want me to believe that is the best we have at S?

frick Ole Miss for Tunsil, btw.

I just saw that on the coaches, Cameron over Bobo? GTFOH with that bullshite. Only an LSU fan would make that choice.

It doesn't get much better than a first-team all-American? GFY, noob.

A foolish argument is to argue that tSECE DL, as a whole, is greater than tSECW DL.

I haven't seen any 2015 mock drafts with Corey Robinson being selected in the first round.

You continue to be wrong.

LINK

From NFL.com ....

quote:

Entering his senior season, South Carolina left tackle Corey Robinson is firmly on the NFL's radar.

The 6-foot-8, 348-pound giant was listed as the third-most physical player in college football, and the most physical player in the SEC, according to NFL.com. Here's how the NFL.com story described Robinson:

"Robinson might not be the most polished pass protector in the world, but he can drive people off the line of scrimmage as well as any offensive lineman in the SEC. Count him in the next crop of NFL-caliber left tackles coming out of the league. Robinson pairs with standout left guard A.J. Cann to make up a dominant left side on the Gamecocks' offensive line, one that will open some massive holes for star running back Mike Davis."

(LG) A.J. Cann was voted the "most underrated" player in the SEC this week by the league's 14 football SIDs, (as well as being named 1st Team Offense on Phil Steele's preseason AA Team).

Robinson has made 22 career starts, including all 13 games last season. His bio page on South Carolina's athletics website mentions Robinson "has the size to make NFL scouts take notice." Hard to miss a man who has the height of LeBron James and weighs more than Shaq.

Here are the top 14 players on NFL.com's list, shown in order of ranking.

14. Jarvis Harrison, G, Texas A&M

13. Luther Maddy, DL, Virginia Tech

12. Quinton Spain, OL, West Virginia

11. Cedric Reed, DL, Texas

10. Michael Bennett, DT, Ohio State

9. Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia

8. Ellis McCarthy, DL, UCLA

7. Dillon Gordon, TE, LSU

6. A'Shawn Robinson, DL, Alabama

5. Cody Prewitt, DB, Ole Miss

4. Karl Joseph, DB, West Virginia

3. Corey Robinson, OL, South Carolina

2. Denzel Perryman, LB, Miami (Fla.)

1. Brandon Scherff, OL, Iowa

What is that list by NFL.com? It doesn't say anything about what it represents. Asking because Prewitt is on it.

Markus Golden had 55 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and 13 TFL last season. He's the most productive returning DL in the SEC, and he did it playing less than 40% of snaps for Mizzou. It was also his first year playing DL. He had always played LB and RB before that.

It does, if you'd actually read what was quoted.

People really don't remember how good Malcolm Mitchell is, for some reason

He is listed as one of the top two receivers in the SEC East. That's pretty high praise.
