Like I said in my SEC West thread last week, things are bound to change and if Duke does indeed come back I will put Auburn for second place heading into the off-season. Nobody is going to stop him.

Auburn fans overconfident again. What happened to the world beaters to be this year?

Preseason?

Who cares, it rarely ends up as predicted.

Man I wish there was a way to improve our defense...Muschamp and Lawson won't make any difference...

You mean we're taking a play out of the Alabama fan playbook?

Duke will go pro bookmark it.

Jeremy Hill said the same shite last year and so did one or both the receivers and they still left. And who can blame them. Why come back and get hurt like Gurley?

It's strange because usually when teams are picked to finish 5-7 in their division, it's indicative of a shitty team. Just like this year, the West won't have any of those next year either.

Also, guys declaring, transferring, signing, decommitting, getting arrested, breaking out, regressing, getting hurt, etc. all affects preseason rankings in-between now and August. That said:

1. Alabama (offense takes a step back but defense steps up)
2. LSU (lots of young pieces but could fall off if QB sucks again)
3. Ole Miss (defense will be better, offense will be way better if there's good QB play which remains to be seen)
4. Auburn (could win the West if Johnson plays well and Muschamp earns his paycheck)
5. State (lose a lot but Dak can carry them toward the top again)
6. Arkansas (lose some big playmakers on D, but will be improved)
7. A&M (the defense needs to get a lot better but the offense will be fricking potent)

I am not saying Auburn will win it, but I am saying Alabama wont win it. Lose just everybody on offense and they actually play a tough schedule for one of the few times under Saban

Receiving Corps depleted. AU will have to depend on the run.

Weren't you the one that said "no way in hell Bruce Pearl would ever coach at Auburn"?

Weren't you also the one who said "no way in hell Muschamp would ever coach at Auburn again"?

We lose Spaight and Flowers. That's it. Never go full retard. We'll be better than both MS schools and LSU next year.
