TCU is better than anyone A&M's played this season.

TCU and UCLA are about equal.

Swap Ark and Tamu and looks about right.

Ole Miss is still better than Arky and A&M.

Why do Aggies to this to themselves every year?

Ole miss is 1-2 and a team that handled them was just throttled 62-20.

So? Ole Miss would easily handle Arky and A&M.

Ole Miss still looks like the second best team in the West.

I know I will get crucified for this, BUT
By the power of transitive football...
1. aTm
2. Bama
3. Arky
4. Ole Miss
4. Auburn
6. LSU
7. State
Aggies jump Tide for number one because they have looked impressive in every game, and have played like a complete team.
Bama slips because of their shaky performance against W KY & because of the FSU game yesterday. Also, the USC game is looking less and less impressive every week.
Aub over LSU because their play in some hard losses looks better than LSU in some less than impressive wins, plus Wiscy against GA State (not to be confused with GA Southern) was just as embarrassing as UGA vs Nichols.
The only reason I would have to keep Bama #1 would be their history and reputation, not what I have seen on the field this year.
Aubie still looks like a decent team to me, their loss against Clemson is certainly not as bad as Ole Miss vs FSU - not after yesterday.
I know, transitive football, but this early, it is all we have...

Nope. Until Ole Miss can stop teams from running at will on them, they can't be considered better than Arky or aTm.
