Wow. That's surprising to me. I could see LSU wanting to play in the game for more exposure in Texas. Couldn't hurt with guys like Malik Jefferson and Daylon Mack.

Why wouldn't Texas accept a bid to play a&m? Longhorns would beat Aggie this year, and that would perpetuate the image Longhorn is trying to convey in the state of Texas: superiority. They will get blown out by LSU and look weak.

Lsu isn't blowing out anyone. They out gained Aggy by like 400 yards and won by a touchdown.

If that's what aTm is putting out there then it's more likely that aTm is the one who won't accept a bid to play Longhorns and Aggie is rushing to put out misinformation so they won't look scared
