I'm shocked the A&M/LSU game isn't on that list.

A&M/LSU was on SECN this year. ESPN has yet to release the ratings for SECN games.

A&M was on SECN 6 times, ESPN 4 times, ESPNU 2 times, and CBS once last year. You generally are not going to get top market ratings when you aren't on CBS or ESPN primetime.

Also at OU fans coming in here to laugh. They are going to shite when they see the ratings the Texas/OU game gets on FS1 this year. That channel often draws worse than ESPNU.

I live in Houston and UT, TAM and LSU have the most fans here by far. I rarely if ever see Bama fans at the bars. UH, Baylor, TCU, TT, OM, UF, Auburn are most others you see here.

It was a down year for A&M. I'm shocked the A&M/LSU game isn't on that list. There has to be more to that.

SEC Network ratings have never been released. This list is comprised of networks and ESPN.

Biggest surprise. Texas A&M vs LSU is nowhere to be found.

Article appears to have a lot of questionable numbers. Be confident that Houston is an SEC city now. With a lot of people naturally also pulling for Houston, but UH is just not a high profile program.

If Texas and Notre Dame played 20 years ago, it would be one of only three games on TV and it would dominate ratings across the country.

Now it is barely a top 20 game for the season in a single market in UT's home state. Sign of the times.

I think it has a lot to do with the 230 CBS slot. A&M wasn't good enough to get that time slot.

We can test that hypothesis next year. We open with UCLA at the 230 CBS slot.
