9. Ole Miss: Speaking of hemorrhaging talent. The Rebels don’t return any starts and will likely rely on Rommel Mageo, a grad transfer, to keep the lights on. But man, this group was pretty great last year. So I can’t drop them into the teens.

If Mageo is as good as I've been led to believe, I think the OM LBs will be better than expected. Demarquis Gates came on strong at the end of the year in 2015.

LSU is ranked 4th and 6th. How is that possible?

6th is pretty much middle of the pack.

Key moving to "LB" is probably why though. You have beckwith and key now who are 2 playmakers at the position and future NFLers (likely top 2 round picks)

Not saying that's incredible or anything, but neither is 6th of 14

Nah... I was asking how it is possible that they hold two spots in the ranking (bottom of the article)

I use the word a lot. So the mods gave me special permission when they put in the filter.

We won't be in the top 3 or 4, but will be much much better at the linebacker position this year. We finally have a deep defensive line that will help too.

The fans keep telling us how many returning players they have this year. Guess they have enough to count for 2 LB corps.

I just mean outside of this article I haven't seen anyone talking about Missouri's Lbs. Seems silly.

Our linebackers should be a good bit better than last year. Greenlaw is very, very good. Was on the all-freshman list last year.

We also have more depth than the past few years. Ellis should be able to come out on obvious passing situations, which has killed the defense before. Teams would pick on his lack of speed.

LinebackerU. Once again Bama is loaded with first round talent starting at LB and a couple of 5 stars that will play a backup role and learn the system. It's really not fair...

4/10 on the source. Is there any sports publication left that has anyone on board that knows more than the average weekend golfer?

I think Mageo is going to be a great player for ya'll. That OSU defense was terrible, so it will be interesting to see what he can do with SEC talent surrounding him.

Our linebacking corps are extremely underrated. Consider this, last year our linebackers combined for 7 INTs, that's better than some secondaries.

Pretty bad analysis for State at least. Our LB's are stacked as hell, probably the only position I can say that about.

Maybe Safety.

shhh... they don't need to know that, let them be surprised. You're right, though. Really pumped to see what LL can do.
