Well if there's such a thing as a silver lining for going 16-22 over 3 years it's that no one is good enough to leave early.

True.

Though in a couple of years we'll see a mass exodus with the young ones we have now.

Some of these don't make any sense. They listen to their agents too much.

Meaning no redshirt sophomores?

Yeah I'm surprised he's leaving, I think it'd make a several round draft position difference if he stayed.

Yeah, I wondered why OP would put it that way. But if we're limited to underclassmen, the entire list would have to be redshirt sophomores... which would be a rather boring list.

I think everyone knows what is meant by the title but will be glad to change it if you have a suggestion for clarity purposes.

Nah, I knew what you meant. But I also wasn't surprised to see the "nobody is an underclassman" reply because that's how the rant rolls. If I have to give an answer, I'd say "SEC Early Departures for NFL Draft", but I don't think a change is necessary.

Thank you sir, and I don't mind being corrected. I actually had to look it up because I always thought all non seniors were considered underclassmen.

No flame but is David Sharpe even good? Only memory of him was Arden Key running around him like he was standing in quick sand.

New QB next season and he'll kill it at the combine. I think Malone is just caught in one of those awkward classes where normally the best thing to do is stay and improve your stock but because of the year he had and a new QB starting next season he might not get much out of it and there's always the risk of injury. If we'd ever been able to RS Dobbs we'd have had Malone for another year, imo.

Does it make a difference if the guy leaving early is because he's academically ineligible to continue his matriculation?

Good question. I also wonder if Hurd should be on this list or not. Does quitting also count towards going pro early?

Although right now the last we've heard is he's still claiming to be transferring despite not asking permission to contact other schools and whatnot.

Basically these are the ones that can choose to come back or go pro. Hurd is off the team like the Fla center Cam Dillard who is transferrring. But I can add them if you would like with a clarification in parenthesis.

Based on credible rumors, UGA's Isaiah McKenzie doesn't have the choice of coming back. That's what I was getting at.

You will get some arguments from Gators for pro and con. I don't watch the OL much, so I wouldn't be much help. It does seem to me that there were not as many very upset about losing our starting LT.
