4 games this Saturday on SEC+. Not even on tv. The reigning national champs opening game isn’t even on tv, streaming only.

Sankey should be run out of town for this garbage, it’s going to kill viewership

Saturday, Sep 2:

Ball State vs. Kentucky - 12 p.m. (SECN)
Virginia vs. Tennessee - 12 p.m. (ABC)
Mercer vs. Ole Miss - 2 p.m. (SEC+)
UMass vs. Auburn - 3:30 p.m. (ESPN)
SE Louisiana vs. Mississippi State - 4 p.m. (SECN)
Western Carolina vs. Arkansas - 4 p.m. (SEC+)
UT Martin vs. Georgia - 6 p.m. (SEC+)
Alabama A&M vs. Vanderbilt - 7 p.m. (SEC+)
New Mexico vs. Texas A&M - 7 p.m. (ESPN)
Middle Tennessee vs. Alabama - 7:30 p.m. (SECN)
North Carolina vs. South Carolina - 7:30 p.m. (ABC)

How does the premier college football conference end up with this garbage? What a drop of the ball by Sankey. Love or hate Slive, the guy put the SEC on top and Sankey is destroying what he built

ESPN did not schedule all those garbage games. No one wants to watch a single one of the SEC+ games

I used to not have an avenue to watch these games at all, so things are improving.

Same with basketball and baseball. I can stream these games on my tv now and maybe some day all games can find room on regular tv.

Get yourself an IPTV and step into the 21st century. I use Eternal TV but there are many to choose from. My IPTV player app on android is, Tivimate. On Apple I use IPTVX.

For around $10 a month you get every cable channel on Earth. Never miss a sporting event again including European football and F1. You get the league passes for every sport you can think of. You even get all the MMA PPVs, boxing PPVs, hell, even WWE PPVs if that's your thing.

There is even a category called "24/7" that's plays over 1200 different TV shows and some movies 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Damn near any show you can think of going all the way back to the 1950s.

I can even watch up to 9 games at once. Amazing for college football season and March Madness.

Given the tools the modern consumer has at their disposal there is really no reason to ever miss a game you want to watch.

It's time for us to get rid of all these shite warm-up games in major college football.

We only get 12-15 games a year, why make two or more unwatchable?

It has been like that for years. Your shitty non p5 games are on SN+ or on SECN at 3 right up against the CBS game. (If there is no other sec game to play).

Completely agree. I want a 9 game SEC schedule and some tasty OOC matchups.

ESPN is a bunch of northeasterners. They don't understand college football and what makes it great. Most of them think of it as the sport for flyover country so they actively despise it. Sankey should be tarred and feathered for turning our game over to Bristol, CT.

I was told that Kent State almost beat Georgia last year. I'm not saying that, I'm just saying that this board told me that. It was a good competitive game, according to this board, and that Georgia almost lost, according to this board.

Is that not good content?

Seems possibly illegal, but it's in the Apple App store. Might have to try it, but I don't see how they get away with PPV events being on there.

It is just steaming of the game. Just like basketball and baseball have. It just isn’t on a tv channel. Only on the app streaming. You just have SECN on your cable to stream it.

Yep. Teams playing at least 10 Power 5 opponents in 2023:

Big Ten 13 of 14
Big 12: 11 of 14
Pac-12: 10 of 12
ACC: 10 of 15
SEC: 2 of 14

Admit which one you are.

Option A: I, SaturdayNAthens am a dumb kvnt

Option B: I, SaturdayNAthens am a troll and am actually in real life an Auburn/Tenn/SC/Bama or other fan not UGA.

I told you all the ESPN deal was garbage but you guys would not listen. What did Sankey get out of it because the SEC got nothing?
