every semester as Auburn, ABC would go out the first two weeks of class and bust everyone for MIPs...so when I was under 21 and it was the first 2 weeks of school, guess where I wasn't? the bars...these kids lack critical thinking capabilities

Interesting point here. You know of any of these at LSU?

One time, I had an anatomy class where we had our own dissection kit including a scalpel. I was supposed to put the scalpel back into the kit before we put it in our backpack, but I wasn't always careful.

One time, I was walking back to my dorm, and I felt something poking me in my backpack. It must have fallen out of the kit. I opened it up and removed the scalpel and placed it back in the kit. But as I was standing there on the sidewalk, I suddenly noticed I was holding a bladed weapon and that if a cop saw me, he would probably ask me some questions.

I'm guessing blacks are far more likely to have their cars searched during routine traffic stops than whites are.

I'm guessing whites (largely) don't drive around with enough bass coming out of the trunk to make the whole town wobble.

Maybe as many whites drive around sparking as blacks, but I do think whites are at LEAST a little more concerned about not attracting attention.

Arrests of well-known student athletes are considered "newsworthy," while arrests of the average college student are not. Because of this, we hear about the scholarship athlete arrests but not average student arrests.

So it's black people's fault that they're arrested at much higher rates than whites for possession (despite similar rates of use)? They just don't care enough about getting caught, you think?

Not in Alabama, as I have not heard of the incident. Was the person arrested on scholarship? If yes, this reinforces my statement.

ETA: Maybe women soccer players (assuming that is who was arrested) are not well-known, but - as scholarship athletes - are still university representatives and therefore "newsworthy."

So, you are saying it's the cops fault when someone gets caught riding dirty? And that it's the cops fault when someone does something that warrants getting pulled over?

Or are you suggesting that the cops say, 'oh, you're white, you can go on your way. By the way, nice smelling dope you got there.'

I think he's merely saying that black college kids are more likely to be pulled over than white kids for similar minor infractions and, more importantly, more likely to have their cars searched when they are.

However, you're point that a car thumping tons of bass is probably much more likely to be searched even without as much other cause is certainly a good one.

Marijuana was only made illegal because black people were perceived to smoke more than whites. Easy way to keep 1 out of 4 black men incarcerated/legal trouble.

Not true.

Cannabis and industrial hemp (which has virtually no thc) were made illegal because it would have replaced existing industries.

The newspaper titan William Hurst had his entire empire streamlined. He owned the logging company, the paper company, and the newspaper. His buddies at DuPont, who provided the chemicals to turn the trees to paper teamed with Hurst to play a significant role in making cannabis and hemp illegal. Hurst used his newspapers to spread propaganda about blacks.

Hurst even gave his daughter to Henry Anslinger, the man in charge of getting cannabis and hemp made illegal. He was the first commissioner of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics, which would become the DEA.

Not to mention hemps threat to the oil industry.

Blacks need to stay out of Cook, IL.

Based on that graph I'd say they need to stay out of NYC.

I'm pretty sure I read on Politifact that blacks are several times more likely than whites to get arrested for marijuana even though they smoke at similar rates.

Because they do it while driving or have weed on them while driving. Car smells like weed. Stay home and smoke that shite instead of doing it at the club or after the club or house party.

the Dr. Jace Calloway that owns/runs this company in Finland (long story how he ended up there) is originally from El Dorado, AR and is an old college friend of mine. Read the info regarding hemp oil on the pages, interesting.
