Vandy/MS. State plays next, but yes only a 16 hour turn around between games.

Notice plays the whole game and scores a career high. Glad to see he'll be a non-factor tomorrow.

Given our issue with giving up leads and the fact that we desperately needed this win, Martin did what he had to do.

....it's basketball and they get to sleep tonight....These guys practice almost everyday...did you play sports ever?

Practice speed is greatly different than game speed.

40 minutes of play with a 16 hour turn around = tired legs.

Great win by Frank. Look forward to playing Arkansas tomorrow.

Can we get a final in the thread title?

I just don't see it, these guys are in a collegiate strength and conditioning program, it's late in the season, and they have time enough to eat 2-3 meals and get 8 hours of sleep. Plus they have nothing else to do tomorrow.

You do realize notice isn't a starter right? While he was out there thornwell got a good bit of rest.

it's late in the season

Which makes roster management even more so important.

Florida would be better served rested and healthy going into the NCAAs with a quarter/semi final loss in the tourney than a SEC-T win banged up and tired in the process.

Looking at your schedule, you've only played back to back games once all season and it was in December.

You lost the second game by 26 to Boise State.

We kindly appreciate the ugly loss... Now Batbie can be dismissed in order for AU to hire its third consecutive disaster of a bball coach!!!

They are not going to get this.

Martin played into Arkansas' hands before the game even tipped off tomorrow night.

Arkansas is the one team you have to manage your roster in when facing in a tournament, their 12 man rotation will wear down your 7 man rotation in a normal game, you do not want to help them by wasting energy during blow out when you know you are going to play them with a less than 24 hour turn around.

Well, I don't understand the premise being presented here by the piggies: what else could we do, other than lose and go home? We could've had a better season and then not be put into this situation of playing B2B gms like we have to be, but it is what it is...

Every team that enters into the SECT in the position we're in have to deal with the same situation. Winning the game tonight - regardless of what happens next - is a big step forward for this young program under CFM. We'll now AT WORST finish going 5-5 in our final 10 games on the season, all in conference play. We ended last season going 4-15 in our last 19 games.

We're taking it one step at a time, but we're moving forward....

The piggies are being idiots. Don't know how you can criticize Martin for not using his bench when bench players accounted for 75 of the 200 minutes played. It's an idiotic argument.

OK, no excuses about being tired tomorrow night, want to blame someone, blame Martin for being a bad coach.
