pretty sure you are wrong here. you win 1 and lsu wins 2 and you are behind them. if sc stays ahead of you as well you will not get a bye.

But Bundy says Kentucky won't even make the conference tourney.

Surely you're not doubting him.

If we win 1, we have 18 wins. If LSU wins 2 they have 17 wins. Depends on whether they count 17 wins out of 28 games or 17 wins out of 29 (the tie). If SC wins, Vandy has to lose.

17-11-1 is better than 18-12. You do know that right?

It's on win pct, not total wins

17-11-1 is not. You didn't win, you didn't lose, but you did play the game. 17/29 is .586. 18/30 is 0.60. I don't know what number they will use but they should use the total games played. But I am only so slightly biased.

Its actually 17.5, the tie counts as a half win in winning percentage. 17.5/29 is .603, which would edge out 18-12 at .600

State locks up a bye with a win AND an LSU loss or two more wins.
State wins the West with two wins and two Ole Miss losses.

State would also lock up a bye with a win AND a Vanderbilt win over South Carolina.

State would win tiebreaker with Vandy (head to head) and with South Carolina (which would go to record vs. Arkansas)

The only way State will not get a bye is if:
they lose the last two vs. Alabama
OR
they split the last two vs. Alabama, LSU sweeps Auburn and South Carolina sweeps Vandy.

roger. i didnt think they counted the 1/2 win though. that was new to me. i looked on d1baseball before and they dont count it when calculating %. But maybe they're just being lazy.

either way its .607 or .603 for lsu vs .600 for state

with Nola tonight good chance but Saturday probably will be a toss up. if we win tonight and UGA wins then Auburn wont have anything to play for on Saturday. So im hoping for that.

I think the 1/2 win is what most places calculate it as.
