SEC Tournament Championship: UF vs. UK III predictions

Are the refs gonna keep letting Randle play football?

I watched him bulldoze dawg defenders all day today and never got called for it. At what point does the ref blow a whistle? They must have had thick envelopes in their locker room

The over/under on FTs UK will take? Hell...give em 22 points at least before the game starts. Of course Randle will find the bumping a tad tougher with # 4 Patric Young under the net and Randle may need extra ice in training room after the game.

The Gators have their sights set on SECT title and undefeated SEC play...UK may find the going a little tough. Wilbekin, Frazier will light up the 3s and force UK from packing it in...then cue Young or Finney Smith down under or Prather slashing to the peach basket. If the 3s fall...UK has no chance with our defense....should be great game.

Tight game, will depend on officiating.

My thoughts exactly. Refs let em play against LSU and the Cats put up one of their best showings of the year. The UGA game today was back to that cheap foul shite and both teams had players sitting for awhile... Hope they let em play tomorrow - I think that favors the Gators however.

Big thing with the LSU game was that the game had some flow and they could play with the momentum.

There was absolutely no flow to the UGA game today.

You don't understand basketball, do you? If the defender doesn't have an established position it's not charging. Learn the rules.

Yeah, no one ever has position when Randle lowers his shoulder and charges like a rabid bull. No defender would ever expect that. They're way more worried about his jump shooting.

It's a meaningless game so who knows. Games that matter start next week.

Nice pre excuse, but the reality may be the 3 game rule
I think by tired legs he meant that Florida has gone through mizzou and tennessee, while kentucky has had lsu and uga. Tennessee is a lot better than uga, and any team would have had their hand full with the vols yesterday. I do think the rule of 3 comes into play, and uk probly pulls this one off, just like in 2011, when Florida had the tougher road, and got crushed in that final game. I would be surprised if UF got blown out, but I could easily see this underachieving kentucky team knock Florida off tomorrow.

I understand that Randle isn't a slashing guard going to the hoop and getting his progress impeded by a defender...Im talking about getting ball passed to him 10 feet away from net and a defender standing there and Randle bulldozes him backing up. A lot of refs call that on offensive players when they back up and run over defenders...but UK doesn't get those calls. As long as they dont call UF for it and Patric Young can do the same...Im ok. But we ALL know UK shoots an inordinate amount of FTs.

WTF are you talking about. UGA had a better advantage getting to the line then UK during the game, so your theory is out the door with UK getting all the calls.

New rules, make contact, you'll get called. And, half the time, Randle is getting hacked with no calls.

Florida is the better team!

But they have started slow do fat in the tourn. UK may be able to get a lead and hang on. But I fully expect UF to go on a 12-14 point run in the last 10mins to win by 8-6

UF is not starting well and lacking energy in the first 10 minutes. That needs to change against UK. Also Yegutte and Finney Smith need to have a better game than UT. They really had problems with UTs bigs.

While UF did struggle against Tennessee yesterday, people forget how well Tennessee was playing coming into that game.

Yeguete and DFS actually played well in both regular season games against the Vols. Obviously, yesterday was a different story.
