Few comments:

Bama doing what they are supposed to do.
UGA under performing.
LSU performing as expected.
Florida looks like they have more athletes than shown here.
Missouri doing the most with the least.

I don't know what happened but they were actually ahead of us earlier in the season.

Justin Jefferson was a 2 star I think.

308th ranked WR.

Makes me think he either didn't get many chances to shine in HS, or there was very little film on him.

Major steal for LSU.

The only camps he attended were LSU camps. He never attended camps where recruiters had the opportunity to evaluate him. And I think he was a little banged up his senior year at Destrehan so there was little to no tape on him. The coaches knew what kind of talent he had/has. He was all LSU from the get go and never received any exposure. That's why he was ranked so low.

ETA: he also signed late with the Tigers due to grade issues, IIRC. Once he had the grade issues cleared up over the summer he was able to sign in August of 2017 with LSU.

Trask was a 2* who never even started in high school. He randomly showed up at a summer camp and got a scholarship from Nussmeier.

That is coaching.

As difficult at it is to credit Mullen he deserves it. He puts his kids in the best positions to win and gets the most out of them.

compare tennessee to missouri. 8 5-stars and 32 4-stars to 0 and 8 respectively and we're gonna beat them like a rented mule for the third year in a row.

Its damn near criminal what the Muschamp and McElwain hires did to Florida.
UF should be top 3.

Either Barry Odom is a god damn genius or there is something really wrong with “stars”

We may be number 10 but if you take Matt Luke's love of Ole Miss into account, then we are giving Bama a run for their money for that top spot.

Don’t tell the Aggies they have this much talent. They are convinced that Jumbo has no talent to work with and is in rebuild mode. Next year they’ll finally have talent.

So fair to say Mullen and Odom and to a lesser extent Stoops are the ones that maximize their talent most.

Fisher and Pruit do the least with more. Jimbo is really paying off.

With the talent that the state of Florida has, yes you guys should be top 3. But the last 3 or 4 years Florida has been finishing around 10 in the nation on average. That is still very good but should be better when you have the state of Florida to recruit from.

Recruiting wasn't a problem under Muschamp. We had 9 5* and 38 4* on the 2013 team.
