Dude, since "YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" brought up this time frame, I'll run with it:

Alabama is 2-2 vs LSU in the last 3.3 years, (since Sept. of 2010.)

Alabama's record in the last 3 years is 37-5.
LSU's record in the last 3 years is 37-6.

LSU was TWO MISSED FGs away from being NCs in 2011 and 2012:
OSU's miss vs Iowa State in 2011
LSU's miss vs Alabama in Nov. 2012

LSU was NUMBER ONE for nearly ALL of the 2011 season, outscoring a schedule with 9 bowl teams 500-123 and going 13-0 in the regular season, something Alabama has NOT DONE since 2009.

Furthermore, LSU and Bama have the SAME number of SEC Titles in the last 3 years: 1.

LSU has been a "Top Tier" team since the year 2000, having a winning season and going to a bowl game EVERY YEAR since 2000, which NO OTHER PROGRAM IN THE NATION HAS DONE.

LSU in in the TOP 5 winningest programs since 2000.

You are full of Duck feces......

except UF, who's been to 22 straight bowl games.

This post is 100% accurate. Bama keep carrying the other 13 teams! They love you, because your last three Rings are kinda like theirs too.

See, that's the thing you don't understand. At any time, 3-4 SEC teams would blow out the other opponent in the BCSNC game. Name one team out of A&M, Georgia, LSU, Florida, and South Carolina that would have lost to ND in the NC game. So, yeah, somebody's got to win it every year. If it's not Alabama it will be another SEC team. If not for SEC teams....SEC teams would be winning more NCs.

To be fair, the Outback Bowls were slightly less-than-straight.

I haven't read the whole thread so I'm sure this has been brought up already, but by your logic, no one except Bama is a top-tier team. Is that what you're saying? I mean, you can't have it both ways and say no one else in the SEC is a top-tier team but then also say other programs around the country (like Oregon, Ohio State) are top-tier.

And for a serious answer, as a South Carolina fan, no, I don't take pride in another SEC team winning. I like when they win, but only because games are more fun and interesting to me when I have someone to root for so I just pick the SEC team because it pisses everyone else off. Also, I do pride that my team plays the best week-in and week-out so when we have the same record as some ACC/Big 12 or whatever team, I can say we had a better season.

If Bama is the only program you consider "Tier 1" in the SEC then the Pac 12 has zero tier 1 programs, and actually that makes them the only "tier 1" team in CFB. Dumb statements.

No problem realism...
What I meant was that had Alleman made that FG, it puts us up 20-14 and we would have kicked off.
Bama would probably have started deeper in their own territory than the 28 (where Alleman missed), and more time would have run off (Bama had no timeouts). It may have made a difference in that last drive...

Oregon is like a street magician that "Ewwws and Ahhhs" folks on the street but if it comes to a big stage in front of a true master they get exposed and hide until they think the world has forgotten about their failure.

We have not forgotten Ducks ... Auburn and LSU are your Daddies!!

As I was driving home from work yesterday, I was listening to one of the Portland sports radio stations. They did a poll to rank the most annoying local fan bases.

Ducks 61%
Trail Blazers 3%
Timbers 22%
Beavers 14%
LINK

Not surprising considering the Ducks' success. Attracts a lot of haters. What was surprising was how many older Duck fans called in to tell them how much they hate the Johnny come lately bandwagon Duck fans. New money vs. old money.

OP is a pretty good example.

I can't thank Cam and the Honey Badger enough for keeping them in their place.
