They have a couple talented players but they have no depth
just because jones doesn't play some players doesn't mean he doesn't have depth. he does. some highly recruited bench players.

But we have proven we can beat anyone
not really. lsu played pretty much it's best game of the season with a fantastic home advantage and still lost.

The sec, outside of KY, is very weak this year.
this just isn't true. the conference rpi is noticeably up this season

I think the SEC is will get 5 teams in. Cats, OM, Ark, LSU, and GA. All of those are solid teams. Ole Miss is playing the best ball in Andy Kennedys tenure. Arkansas's qualls and portis are the type of players that can take a team deep in the tourney. LSU has talent all over the court they just look out of sync sometimes and Georgia is well coached and their point guard is the best in the league

Arky is no better than LSU. LSU has, as you stated, had some very bad losses.....eliminate those couple of losses, and LSU is the clear #2 in the field, hands down.

Bad losses are what make teams bad. It's pretty simple.

Every team on the bubble will have bad losses. It's why they're on the bubble.

I'm not sure why you're trying to talk Arkansas down.
Because you started a thread saying Arkansas was a tourney "lock". If Kentucky lost all the rest of their games, they'd still be in. That's a lock. You don't lock up your spot in the tourney by having the 2nd best record in the SEC with 6 games and the conference tournament remaining.

I look forward to our game on 3/7. We may be playing for a spot in the tourney.

because lsu didn't win meaning they haven't proven they can beat anyone. ky took lsu's best shot in baton rouge and still won. having said that, lsu looked really strong and if the tigers play like that in the tourney (provided they make it) they could be dangerous and win a few.

Join the club of people keeping it close against UK. Not all of those teams are making the tourney. We had them within 5 with 2 mins left on the road without our best player. Looking forward to another shot in Athens.

But, like LSU, we shite the bed against some awful teams. We are both on thin ice. LSU more so than Georgia because they somehow lost to Missouri.

Those teams also dont have 4 RPI Top 50 wins like we do, like IO said, we not only played UK till the buzzer but have plenty of good teams.

Arkansas has done a very good job at not losing the games games they shouldn't. Still, they are only 3-2 against the top half of the SEC.

Because they are right now. Projected as a 6 seed in all the latest projections. Likely projected higher this week.

Arkansas isn't a bubble team. Arkansas is a lock for the tourney right now.

Arkansas also has three OOC wins against top 55 RPI teams(@SMU, Dayton, and Iona)

It's not just not having bad losses, it's also having quality wins outside the league.

Look at aTm for example...I don't like their resume...why? Their only "good" wins are in league play. Though, they have no bad losses, they still really, have no good wins.

Youve proven you're an idiot when it comes to basketball. You've repeatedly said this lsu team is more talented than 2006 lsu and that 1st team all sec Darrel Mitchell wouldn't get playing time in this year's lsu back court. Youre dumb. Stop spreading your ignorance to other boards.
