Remeber we came close to upsetting LSU in DEATH VALLEY

Oh I remember. It's more about beating both LSU and aTm to land that 9-3 season.

I'm looking forward to that trip. Get to see my Oxford friends, enjoy another Saturday in the Grove, and hopefully watch a great football game.

Kiss of death for the Rebel Bears. They will be a good football team again and improved over last year. They should beat Texas this round, but I am not sure they are ready to battle for the SEC WEST(Which also means the NC) just yet. But I expect 8-4, 9-3 is a very possible. Defense must get much much better

It doesn't, but Ole Miss always plays LSU tough if they have a pulse going into that game.

I can tell by your post you really think LSU's team gave a frick after Alabama shot down our BCS chances. We were no doubt a top 10 team during our stretch against A&M, Carolina, and Alabama. I'm not saying Ole Miss can't beat LSU this season, but the outcome of the game last season would have been similar to your games against UGA and Alabama if LSU was still in BCS contention.. Hell after the Alabama game we almost lost to arkansas by the way I think this year's LSU-OM game will be a one score game either way

Les has a tendency to let inferior teams play a close game, but usually comes out on top. I wouldn't flatter yourself with last year's game. Auburn and Arkansas were in the same boat as y'all against us, and I don't see all their fans predicting the W against us this year

Sounds like a matter of opinion to me. Which is an excuse used by fans to make them feel better about their teams. Any proof, links, or "facts" that you claim. It was a close game dude, just give OM it's props and get ready for Nother great game this year.... Damn...

Call it what you will, but you're out of your mind if you think LSU's performance its last few games was equivalent to its play when LSU beat two top 10 teams and lost to the national champ with a minute left to play. Hell that Alabama loss killed most of the fans' moral and rightfully so. That was a tough loss

Ill give Ole Miss and Hugh Freeze props for overachieving and giving some great teams all they could handle, absolutely. All I'm saying is that if LSU were still in contention for a BCS game we'd have continued playing at the level we were playing at mid season...now the game still might have been close because LSU-ole miss is almost always epic

No doubt. I have LSU splitting the games against the Mississippi schools for two reasons: ole miss is going to be really good, and because surely the football gods will give state a win against us sometime soon
