I can't even. For one the average height in Kansas is nowhere near 6-5. There is more Nordic ancestry in the upper Midwest, but it isn't confined to Germans. There are Danes, Finns, Swedes, etc.
Second point isn't to you, but op. You're under the ridiculous illusion that obese people are more suited to be football linemen. That's incredibly moronic. Big people make good linemen. Big, Strong, Barrel-Chested athletes make much better linemen than fat dopes. So no, the obesity epidemic doesn't help.

I don't agree. There have been some great southern o linemen in the NFL. Where are you getting your stats? Is it just a hunch you had and thought you'd share?

Most of the obesity in the south is in people that are a little too old to get drafted by the NFL. We don't all start out fat!!
