If you were forced to move to another state that's located in the SEC footprint, which states would and would not appeal to you?

I could definitely do Tennessee and some parts of Georgia/Florida due to proximity to SC.

I could go from Texas to Florida. Maybe Tenn or South Carolina. Florida would be #1.

South Carolina

Was born in Louisiana, graduated from LSU, and live in Texas. Texas is great but the Summers are tough. I have often wondered what it would be like to live near either Charleston SC or Nashville TN.

Every state has parts that are attractive spots to me.

In the SEC footprint, I've lived in AL (less than 20 miles from TN), GA, SC, FL, KY, LA, MS, KS (but literally right across the river from MO) and am due a move next summer to TX. Tried like hell to avoid TX, but it finally caught up to me it seems.

Of those, FL is the one place I'd prefer the least to return. I like 4 seasons, hunting variety, and cheaper insurance.

GA, AL, TN in the mountains would be my most preferred or NW AR

Also lived SEC adjacent in NC and VA. Loved each. Currently in central PA, it's likely the prettiest place I've lived outside of Argentina or Hawaii (but Hawaii got old pretty quick)
