The only good stadiums are LSU, Texas A&M, South Carolina, and Arkansas.

Honestly there are 6 great SEC stadiums/venues
that compare with, or even exceed any in the country:
Arkansas, LSU, South Carolina, A&M, Ole Miss, and Miss State,
With Auburn, Vandy, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky,
Georgia, Alabama and Mizzou not far behind.
And I'm sure every one of them has or will have plans to renovate, add on, or improve.

Baum does have a home plate entrance and no, we did not cut corners.
We have chair backs throughout the stadium, suites from foul pole to home plate.
That's spending a lot of $$, not short cutting it.

You have obviously never been to Vandy's Hawkins Field. It's small but an awesome stadium! It's sandwiched right up next to the Football Stadium and Memorial Gym.

i dont see anything awesome about vandy's stadium.

It's the main entrance. It is the entrance that has the hog engraving on the ground prior to entering. I'm sure if you google Baum Stadium there are pictures of it.
After the next renovation, center field will also be a focal entrance as it will have a bridge over the pond and a Razorback fountain that will bring you to the 360 concourse.

Also, if you are going to the game to drink, then your main entrance is the Hog Pen, not home plate

probably more fun
I'd agree that Ole Miss has the most fun stadium. I mean, you can bring your own coolers in the outfield. That's a big ole /thread as far as the most fun stadium if I've ever seen one. Their crowd is great and very into the game as well.

And my bad about A&M folks. Was the best picture I could find at the time
I liked your pic. I found myself in it! :)
I had been to every park in the Big 12, although I hit Nebraska before their move to Haymarket, which is a palace. I am looking forward to making the SEC roadies, although I went to LSU for the 1991 regional and 2004 super regional. Hopefully the new Alex Box doesn't have any of these views.
I am also looking forward to starting my SEC bar shirt collection. My Phil's Oyster Bar (RIP) shirt will always represent Baton Rouge.

That's a perk at Baum as well. Byob in the Hog Pen.
Arizona State game a few years back, there were multiple couches placed on rollers being taken in with the ice chests.

More places need to do it. At most schools, college baseball isn't going to attract a big crowd. If you let the students start drinking though, it turns into a nice outdoor social event in the Spring and more people get into it.

Just graduated a few days ago, and I think I will miss Aggie Baseball more than anything. I will definitely try to make some SEC games this year.

MSU and Ole Miss have been doing this for years. OM outfield is totally free and you can enter with a cooler 5 minutes before gametime... MSU's was like that for many years until our former dumbass AD decided he needed to make money on the outfield. I can see that being repealed in the coming years. Now we've got to get coolers in early @ MSU - but literally everyone in the lounges are drinking/grilling

I usually make the roadie to Norman as it's only a six hour drive. OU has a pretty nice ballpark as well. I remember going in 2005. There was a Saturday DH, and a group of guys with a megaphone and a cooler of beer behind their left field wall. I knew it was going to be an interesting afternoon. The wind was blowing in about 20 mph, so the megaphone wasn't even needed.
By about the 5th inning they went beyond abuse to stuff like "Hey #12. You're Mom's a whore. When I was frickin' her last night, she told me she's so horny cause your Dad would rather get fricked up the arse than take care of her." Thank God I wasn't a dad at the time. My wife and I were sitting next to a woman with her little league son who'd brought his glove. We looked at each other like, WTF, is anyone going to do anything?!? She went to find campus security. She wound up talking to a medic who radioed the cops. A police car pulled up to those guys and made them stop using the megaphone. They didn't miss a beat without the megaphone though. After an early 2nd game graphic description of a gay ménage à trois with our three starting outfielders, this poor woman left.
I was so floored by the whole thing that I wrote OU Athletic Director Joe Castigione when I got back home. I received a very nice reply from him and never had any more problems on return trips to Norman.
College kids, alcohol, and sporting events aren't a good mix. I know people still drink at games. I've spent some time at Olsen Field's beer tree myself, but a lot of kids just can't handle their liquor.
Just my .
