The strides in depth that the SEC has made in women's sports the last 5-10 years is really staggering. The PAC 12 used to be the conference that occupied 75% of the Top 10 in all of these sports (especially softball). The SEC has completely usurped them.

Let me edit -- Florida DAMN Strong on the diamonds!! Congrats!

This is exactly the TRUTH!!
Just look at the facilities to start with. Everyone in the SEC has made significant improvements to the stadiums except Texas A&M (& hopefully they will get their new stadium soon). Some of the Pac12 facilities are not as good as the new high school facilities being built. That's why when I was the high school softball coach in College Station, many of the college teams would come over and extra workout time on our field because the conditions were as good as A&M's field. Even players from Pac12 schools asked if this was really our high school field. They don't spend money out there like we all do for our athletes!

This is UF's best shot at a WS in baseball. They have a couple on the second team that could be on the 1st team. Really looking forward to both. Just hope we can keep Sully around for a bit longer.

Exactly!! Love how the tide has shifted to the SEC on the diamond the last few years. Now UF needs a title in baseball.

I don't follow a ton of softball, but I've noticed that tBig6 of football also tend to be the best six SEC softball teams. All 6 are usually top 10 or 15 nationally.

Softball is gay.
(Because we're bad at it)
^
Everyone's opinion about WBB and baseball when their team's suck.

EAST doing work, especially considering Vanderbilt has no softball team.

Yep, it is getting old for the rest of the conference. Florida winning national titles in softball for years in a row, gymnastics for years in a row, track for years in a row, and football and basketball for a while. The baseball team and volleyball teams are always close and they are getting swimming and golf back on track and their women's basketball is doing well this year. They win the SEC all sports trophies all the time. I don't know how they sustain it.

That is correct about the East, but in softball, we don't play East and West -- one set of standings for all.

That 80 year old Auburn brought in is doing work.
The SEC is stacked and the other conferences are fricked, AGAIN!

I don't know much about softball but I guess we stink this season.

No, the Aggies will be good too! Just so many good teams in the SEC. Ninth in the SEC would equal 2nd in the Big 12.
Last year 11 teams made the NCAA tournament out of 13.
