Pepper spray was a sequel to the first video where he pepper-sprayed Hope. That's why only pepper spray really works here. They're playing a bit to their regular fans who watch all their episodes, which is actually pretty cool.

"Hope" is actually played by Hannah Kuykendall, a really good actress with considerable theater experience.
