Total Rank/SEC Rank/Team/YDS/YDSpA

6/1. Texas A&M 1077/7.0
12/2. Alabama 985/5.5
22/3. Auburn 939/4.6
27/4. Miss St/884/4.8
39/5. Kentucky/787/4.9
39/6. Georgia/787/4.5
46/7. LSU/767/5.6
47/8. Tennessee/746/4.2
55/9. Mizzou/713/4.4
56/10. Florida/712/4.7
75/11. Arkansas/632/3.8
82/12. Vandy/595/3.7
99/13. Ole Miss/522/4.2
123/14. USCe/363/3.0

Gave UK the edge against the georgia tie since their yards per attempt was higher.

A quick reshuffle according to yards/attempt which i think is a better way of viewing it.

Total Rank/SEC Rank/Team/YardspAttempt

3/1 Texas A&M/ 7.0
14/2 LSU/ 5.6
15/3 Miss St/ 5.6
16/4 Bama/ 5.5
41/5 UK/ 4.9
58/6 Florida/ 4.7
60/7 Auburn/ 4.6
62/8 Georgia/ 4.5
72/9 Mizzou/ 4.4
82/10 Ole Miss/ 4.2
84/11 Tennessee/ 4.2
107/12 Arkansas/ 3.8
108/13 Vandy/ 3.7
122/14 USCe/ 3.0

A few notes, both arkansas and auburn were at the top of the conference in rushing before they met a brick wall.

A&Ms got a solid squad this year. The only thing would concern me would be defensive depth but they defiantly look like the 2nd best team in the SEC this year.

The SEC really just isn't physical enough to handle the A&M ground game.

Yeah, I kept hearing the talking heads on Saturday go on about our "4 receiver, high-flying offese", and I thought to myself, "Have they SEEN us this year?"

Our QB is a great leader, above average runner, and a wishbone passer. We look more like an SEC team this year than we have at any point since we joined.

I think Benny Snell Jr. is leading the SEC in rushing TDs too.

Keep in mind all 5 TDs have come in the last two games (NMS and South Carolina), but I'm excited about his potential as a true freshman.

Something else that's scary is our yards/attempt on passing is 7.2 as well.

The "brick wall" is being behind two scores and having to throw the ball more than anticipated.

Auburn ripped off 200+ yards at over 4 ypc. That includes sack yardage losses.

We're not a rushing team this year. We also weren't even in the top half in the conference in rushing before the A&M game. Been saying that since week 1, but keep up with that strawman.

Why is LSU 4.8 ypa then 5.6 ypa...? What am I missing?

Its true. While the splits are still similar (they were before the A&M game) Arkansas was a lot less effective running the ball this year and better at passing. The announcers at the game were driving me nuts saying how Arkansas is some great running team.

Everyone was saying it. "The power run game of Arkansas bleh bleh belehgah!"

Was blatantly obvious no one actually watched us this year. We've won games because Austin Allen is the 2nd coming of Jesus.

Their secondary was awful. That front 7 is beastly though.
