I am not overly concerned about road records since they dont hand out any trophies for it. When your school has zero national titles and two conference titles in the last 3 decades, I guess you have to take whatever victories you can get

No it doesn't include Alabama's vacated wins. Alabama has about 20 fewer victories than Florida overall since 2000 if you take away those 21 wins

You don't get a trophy for going undefeated either.

I will take undefeated seasons over a certain amount of road wins any day. The only people who wouldn't root for schools that don't have any undefeated seasons

I thought you weren't concerned with something that doesn't come with a trophy?

Not if you're Auburn.

I'm actually surprised we're that close to .500

Don't be.

We were well above .500 overall until the Brad Scott era ... and because his era occurred just when social media and the Internet was catching fire, the perception of Gamecock football was skewed.

Brad Scott did so much internal and external damage to us - little wonder he is the most hated coach in our history.

Lou Holtz saved us. We will always owe Lou Holtz that - he saved us.

From the start, South Carolina has never had an all-time away record above .500. There has only been 4 ten year periods that they had a winning away record record in history.

Interestingly, South Carolina is coming off their best 10 year record in away games in history from 2004-2013 at 26-22.

I'm most surprised of Kentucky s 15 road wins in 15 years.
I wasn't sure they had won that many total.

I have no problem with this data. I figured you all wrong (for this thread at least)

I am pretty confident about our chances on the road in general which the record shows. We just drop games we shouldn't thus the lack of nattys

Thanks for the data though. Interesting stuff

Would have NEVER thought Bama was above .500. I dont remember beating anybody, anywhere during our schollie limit years 2001-2007. Interesting to see what this is from 2007 forward when had 85 "scholarshipped" players again with experience again.

And not those BS "vacated" wins with a team that didnt play those players in 2007 when we were 6-2 and lost every game after they were suspended and a coaching staff that wasnt there. Textbooks dont win ballgames.

I can recall one, Fran came in and pushed out shite in 31-0 in 2002. Most miserable experience I've ever had in TS
