As much as I hate Bama, I couldn't really imagine not playing them. Maybe in a couple of years you guys will be able to work things out with the Longhorns. Likely when Deloss and his ilk leave

36-0 was pretty nice.

42-14 was as well.

1997 Florida-FSU

Sebastian Janikowski kicks a field goal to put FSU up 29-25 and does a Gator Chomp in the throat slash.

With 2:30 the next play from scrimmage is a 60 yard bomb from Doug Johnson to Quezzy. Followed by two Fred Taylor rushes for 17 yards and a TD.

Ended FSU's hopes for a National Championship.

Saban's arrival at Bama, has forced Bama's two rivals to go through 4 combined coaches already, and in a month or two, they'll be on their 6th combined coaches. Saban will possibly have 3 NC's at that time. A NC for every coach they've had.

Deloss will have to die first and a whole generation will have to move on.

Then maybe.

Did Florida ever play Miami on a regular basis?

(where I about died as a little kid)

Care to elaborate?

The nearly dying part was hyperbole,. I was a kid with my dad and grandfather. I got separated from them in a heaving surging mass of nearly hysterical people (I think 30,000 were at that tigerwalk). Since I was pretty young and small, I just sqeezed in between everyone all the way to the front where the players were passing. Once it was over, I found my grandad waiting for me back at the car before heading into the game.

So basically you weren't worried about being separated from your folks until after Tiger Walk was over . . . Brat
