Who? I just remember Bryant, then we had the 80s. Gene Stallings, then we had the internet, PCs, and a few wars and then Saban just arrived one day. Nothing in between those 3 coaches.

No actually they could solve the problem by labeling the SEC West, Strong Side, and the SEC East, Weak Side.

Right because what happened a decade a go or more has anything to do with the power structure of the SEC in 2014. And BTW, Dubose won an SEC title, and Fran would have played for one in 2002 were it not for probation. It's cute how you Gator fans forget that even in our darkest years we were better than most programs in their golden years. Now go back to your corner of irrelevance, gator.

Which would either end the Iron Bowl or the TSIO. REC wont allow it.

Going to 9 SEC games is inevitable anyway. That would solve some of the scheduling issues.

SEC - Strong Teams: Ole Miss, MSU, A&M Weaker Teams: Kentucky, Vandy, LSU, USC SEC - Strong Teams: Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas Weaker Teams: UGA, Mizzou, UT, Florida
This would be great for Ole Miss, MSU and A&M, getting away from Alabama and Auburn, while adding Kentucky and Vandy.

This hook got stuck in some roots near the shore and Landmass is pulling on it and is all excited because he thinks he got a big one.

Don't break your line, Landmass. Just move the boat a little closer and free your hook to troll again another day.

haha...you bammers are really too much in your football delusion. The point is relevant because less than a decade ago the west was nothing special...it will balance out again, but I am not sure your ADD hick brain can see that far down the dirt road.

Delusion? I stated my opinion and backed them up with facts. You stated that we were horrible under several coaches, and I correctly pointed out that one of them won an SECC and the other would have played for one if not for sanctions. Sorry you can't handle the facts, but like most "johnny come lately" fan bases of which Florida is certainly one, I would expect no less.

Could the divisions balance themselves back out given enough time? Sure. Is it likely any time soon with the powerhouse Saban has built, AU humming with Gus, TAMU finally starting to play like a power, LSU who will always be a top five team in talent, and now the MS schools recruiting and playing better? Sure doesn't seem like it. Spurrier will retire or die in the near future which will send USC back to their usual 7-5 seasons, UGA will be UGA as long as Richt is there, UF and UT have fallen into a black vortex(without the help of NCAA sanctions, I might add) and then you have crapper programs like Vandy, UK and Mizzou. So yeah, I stand by my statement that the SEC could help itself heading into the playoff era by reorganizing the power heavy West just a bit.

just move bama and barn to the east, vandy and mizzou to the west.

its not like lsu is down yet. thats their worst defensive performance in 15 years. state, ole miss, arky and a&m have had multiple losses, just as bad on a yearly basis for 15 years, lol.

id wait til the years over to talk about "new" big 6. olemiss, arky, state and a&m have never had any staying power, nothing consistent and certainly no championship seasons. those 4 programs have been very average to poor for over a decade. half a century for all of em except a&m.

let that sink in. ole miss, state and arky havent been relevant for half a fricking century. maybe a random decent year here and there.

after we skull drag the rebs next weekend we can stop all the "ole miss" big 6 talk.

I thought an SEC championship was the main qualification for a big 6 team.

National championship?

i was. a&m won a big12 title in the 90s. actually came close to the natty in the 90s. on more than one occasion.

bama, lsu, uga, uf, auburn and i guess number 6 is an argument right now. no one wants it i guess. ut has just been to bad for the last decade.
