We had 2500 last year. This year if Allen is any better, we'll be closer to 2800 if not more
I think we will rush as a team for well over 2500. I think it will be 2500 from just those 3 backs.

yur stupad
He will break 100 easy. He did very well for us. Some of our own fan base are forgetting how good he is.
Cap is a strong back.

Do you think Marshall will throw the ball more or you will go to more of a RB by committee type deal?
It will depend on how the first month goes.

You said it won't be close to 1000.

1400 is not close to 1000

It's a lot closer than most numbers.

Not RB production numbers.

Which 500+ and 300+ adds up to what? You can't discredit receiving yards? All of them were out of the backfield...?
Everybody is referencing rushing yards in this thread.... No doubt Jaylen is a nice weapon though

He's really quite underrated.

CAP is a beast. He'll put up big time numbers. I said during last season and I still say it now, CAP > Mason. Had he been given those carries, he'd have done similar things.

One thing that can't be argued is the insane amount of talent at the RB position in this league.
Posted on 8/6/14 at 12:25 pm to FightinTiga
it's going to be the year of the running back in the SEC

Excuse my ignorance but what is the meaning behind wearing #18 for LSU?
It's given to a senior captain every year. It just shows that Miles has a lot of faith in Magee so I don't see him losing too many carries to LF this year.

Darkhorse: Braylon Heard, Kentucky
4* transfer from Nebraska who is eligible this year. He's pretty much set himself apart from everyone except Jojo Kemp at RB in the spring. We end up with a serviceable guy at QB and it could open things up on the ground for him.

Best chance to reach 1,000 yards:
•Todd Gurley, Georgia
•T.J. Yeldon, Alabama
•Mike Davis, South Carolina
Should come close:
•Cameron Artis-Payne, Auburn
•Derrick Henry, Alabama
•Alex Collins, Arkansas
•Kelvin Taylor, Florida
*Keith Marshall, Georgia
Too tough a feat?
•Terrance Magee, LSU
•Marlin Lane, Tennessee
•Jonathan Williams, Arkansas
