There were many threads about the 2011 LSU team being the greatest team in the history of college football before the BCS game. I just figured since they weren't the greatest in college football history that they were the greatest in LSU history.

Again, the entire year everyone was bitching about how much of a joke our offense was. The defense was pretty damn good though

You said "best" are we talking most accomplished or who was the better team on the field?
If it's most accomplished then the 2011 team is 4th or 5th behind 58, 03, 07 and I guess 1908.
If you mean who was the best on the field then that's a subjective discussion that can't be "proven" with facts.
You have an agenda because you want to mock us for having our "best ever" LSU team lose the BCSCG to our most hated rival. You have a bias against LSU which has been shown many times in your post history.

If we had won that game then yeah it would have been. But they didn't win and not only that they lost in spectacular fashion. so that knocks them down the list doesn't it? Man some of you are idiots.

so you're saying if LSU had won...it would of been the greatest team in the history of CFB, but since they lost they're only the 5th or 6th best team in LSU history?

You played Ole Miss in the BCSNG? Because we (meaning Alabama-LSU) aren't rivals and we (meaning Alabama fans) certainly don't hate LSU.

Judging from the responses in this thread i would say LSU being in the conference is number 1, followed closely by this website being started by LSU fans.
