How many have had a very good career or at least a career worth talking about?

Of course the Manning brother but other than those two, Mathew Stafford seems to be in for the long haul. It was long before I followed LSU since they had one that had anything worth talking about.

So who are some from your school?

Starr, Namath, and Stabler did okay. Richard Todd could of been something if he hadn't been stuck with the Jets.

Chest Tat may do something if lightning strikes Dalton.

Jay Cutler makes a lot of money, if that counts as success

Tannehill is the only one from TAMU currently starting in the NFL. He wasn't an SEC QB though, of course.

Manziel is the only other one we have on a roster right now, obviously.

Fran Tarkenton for UGA is probably our best.

Is Aaron Murray currently on a team? That was one tough kid.

Bert Jones.

He played during the 3 yards and dust cloud days or who knows what may have been.

Always heard he had the best arm ever.

Cam is still awesome. Jason Campbell had a mentionable career. Dameyune Craig never made it in the NFL, but his jersey hangs in the hall of fame. He still holds the record for the most passing yards ever in a professional football game.

It is also interesting that three former Auburn starting QBs played in MLB. Jimmy Hitchcock and his brother both played for the Braves franchise in the 1930s. Gabe Gross played for 7 seasons in MLB.
