Who the hell actually thinks McCarron has a chance of going in the 1st round? Is this real life?

No just Bama fantasy land.

Manziel is the only QB I predict goes in round 1, Mett 2nd, AJ & Murray 3rd.

Embellish much? Just admit that you can't be impartial about the topic and move on.

How dare you insult AJ like that! He can hand the ball off as good as anybody in this QB class!

Anyone ever talk about the height of Aaron Murray? Dude is 6 ft tall just like Johnny, but has never been mentioned.

If Cincinnati wants a QB at 24 and Manziel, Carr, and Bridgewater are gone who else would they take?

Unless they have settled on AJ being their guy and they think they can pick him up in 2 or 3.

SEC QB's - The Four M's - where do they get drafted?

quote:

Not sure which rounds, other than Manziel will probably go in the first, but I'll guess the order.

Manziel
McCarron
Murray
Mettenberger

Of the four

Two are short. Two have character issues. Two are hurt currently. And 3 haven't won shite in their college careers.

Yet McCarron will be the one that drops.

Are you stupid? Mettenberger had """ONE""" incident while at Georgia FOUR YEARS AGO when he drank too much and grabbed a girl.
He did not have any issues before that, and has had absolutely none since.
Please explain to me how that is a 'character issue' ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Also FYI, Mettenberger has had successful surgery on his knee and will be ready to throw at the combines this spring.

Mettenberger was 20-6 as a starter and 4 of those losses were the result of the defense giving up last minute TDs (Alabama, Clemson in 2012, Georgia and Ole Miss in 2013).
He also managed to throw for nearly 3,000 yards on the first LSU team in history with two 1,000 yard receivers.
He also had one of his best games against the vaunted Alashama defense in 2012, and was well on his way to doing the same in 2013 had he gotten some fricking protection in the second half.

Mettenberger also is the tallest and has the best arm of the four.

Regardless of what you think of these QB's the likely order will be:

JM
Mett
AJ
AM

Scouts dont like AM due to Size and they like Mett due to size. Scouts are split on AJ. Teams all love Jm, his small size not being a big enough down size to them to pass on him.

As of half an hour ago ...
Johnny Manziel declares for 2014 NFL draft
quote:

The Kerrville (Texas) Tivy High product is rated as the No. 14 player on Mel Kiper Jr.'s Big Board, and Scouts Inc. ranks him as the 22nd-best player. ESPN College Football and NFL Draft Analyst Todd McShay projected Manziel to go fourth overall in his initial mock draft of the 2014 cycle.

Obviously just one guy's opinion.

While I actually agree JM will be a top 5 pick......this is the same guy that thinks Bortles will be a great NFL QB...
