2 Gator Bowls for state and 1 Cotton Bowl = 4 NYD bowls? I'm not mathematician, but....?

Funny how the Cap1 bowl is so great unless someone else other than SCAR is the team in it... I think last year they were referring to it as just another toilet bowl... oh yeah because UGA was in it..

Yeah, I've seen us lose one bowl game in my lifetime that I can remember. I was born in 90.

2000: 7-5, Lost Music City Bowl

And we would have won that one if Cutcliffe hadn't been so hesitant to put in redshirt freshman Eli Manning. Also, the temperature was around absolute zero that night.

I'm calling horse fricking shite on that one you insecure little dawg turd. That is, unless you can go back to last year this time and find something posted somewhere to support your fricking lie.

SCAR fans are not hypocrites and we damn sure would not have posted something like that the year following our last trip to the Cap One.

I will be glad to hunt back if need be. I know for a fact all I heard was how your outback bowl was being billed by some as a damn BCS championship vs our cap 1

How much warmer was it on WVA's sideline that night?

Don't forget I live in SC and surrounded by you guys and taters. I can quote the man 2 doors down from my office. "Outback bowl is a much better bowl" Said to my face at work.

No matter the chicken samach bowl must be better than both seeing it is in the playoff rotation

Either get to huntin' or stfu.

The only thing you may have "heard" was that the Outback, last season, was billed by some pundits as the most exciting of all the bowl games played for that particular post season. It wasn't Gamecock fans saying it or posting it or writing about it, it was ESPN, some members of this forum from all the fan bases, certain journalists, et al.

You've either got a bad memory, a propensity towards revisionist history or you are simply a shite-stirring liar ... which is it? You can be forgiven for the first, but not the second or third.

Calm down scrooster go kick a cat or a kid or something. There is nothing wrong with pride in a teams accomplishments and as far as hypocritical I can say with no doubts that you are not. You're full of shite mean grumpy and an uber homer but you say somthin you do stand behind it. I wish you were a truck salesman in the upstate right about now

Did I mention you can be grumpy lol

Wasn't saying the cold was why we lost. Just that I personally froze my arse off as a 9 year old.

So the moon landings aren't modern then? Got it.

The "modern" era changes depending on what is being examined. Many sports indeed use the 70s when integration occurred as the beginning of their "modern era" for statistical purposes. However, if you want to look at the history of the world, the "modern era" usually begins around the Industrial Revolution. Using the same "modern era" parameters for both history and athletics would be silly since no major sports league that I am aware of even existed in the 1820s.

Stop putting time tables on everything. Only lesser programs do this so the stats are in their favor. Do you only look at first half or second half stats? No. You look at the entire body of work to determine who is better.

If looking at the a program being "better" over their entire history, sure. You look at the entirety of their accomplishments. However, let's just be honest, do those accomplishments really correlate to current success and program standing? Just a thought.

FWIW, I agree with Rooster. Any Gamecock fan that might have said anything remotely close to that is retarded. This is only our second time being in the Cap 1 bowl.

Truthfully, no Gamecock fan should complain about ANY bowl we go to. Yes we have higher expectations now, but padding our terrible bowl history with wins is always a plus.

The NCAA defines the modern era starting in 1937.
