Yeah and Muschamp is long gone! Didn't everyone see Florida beat New Mexico School for the Blind last week? Things are getting better already!

I don't think it will be that close. We should cover pretty easily, but one thing that does concer me a bit is they sacked Kessler 5 times and our OL looked like shite in week 1.

Florida will win handily this weekend...not because they have vastly improved since their 8 point bowl victory over ECU, but because Lincoln Riley isn't the OC for ECU this year. They have taken several steps back from the team they were last year.

Mizzou's OL is not-clicking yet. Because of this and a road game, a lower score and A-State covers.

We will cover. Pinkel will use more of the playbook, and our D will hold them in check. I expect a Defensive TD on Saturday.

Yep, UF hasn't improved at all.

I agree with all of this. I just don't understand why people assume Florida will be back to being Florida now that Muschamp is gone. I'm sure it will happen, but there is exactly one game against a bad opponent to base everything on.

Who is saying UF is back?

Is it okay to point out that our offense looks way more functional than it ever did in the Muschamp era?

And before you point out EMU last year, our offense still looked like shite at times in that game and we had a load of penalties.

We had exactly ONE penalty against NMSU and our QBs look way better coached.

My original commented responded to someone (atlgator maybe?) who said that UF wouldn't have trouble with a directional school since that only happened under Muschamp.

We've allowed 20+ points thrice since the beginning of the 2014 season and Fresno State is going to eclipse that mark?

Well...when you're putting up 70+, the opposition gets more possessions than normal.
