Are you going to argue that what Alabama brings back on offense isn't paramount to offensive success? And even with four starters gone on defense, the amount of rotation used has served well for replacements routinely under Nick Saban.
Again, I argue that the key components that Alabama brings back is more than anyone else in the SEC West.

Every team in the west(except Arkansas) brings back "key components" on offense

Got to get that QB situation sorted out and AU should make a bowl.

quote:That's how I see it as well. I'm pretty much counting on Nick Marshall coming in, not to be the savior, and fitting the offense well enough to win us more games than last season. He's a better rusher and passer than anyone we have on roster by a mile, IMO. I still don't expect Auburn to be very competitive against Georgia, Alabama, and Texas A&M this year. The game against LSU will be closer than experts think.

Please show me where I said that y'all aren't returning key starters. I simply said what you said before and what you are saying now are two totally different statements. My argument was that Alabama and A&m aren't returning the most starters, not that they weren't returning key starters

Did the rest use that to win a BCS national title? We're arguing over word usage here, and I should have worded my initial statement better, so I'm going to bow out.

Again, this is an argument over word usage. I'm simply stating that Alabama has proven time and again that as long as key components are back, it shouldn't be counted out.

Didn't OM lose only 1 starter on defense?

We only lost three starters total

We lost Gilbert Pena and Jason Jones, who were both starters. We lost EJ Epperson who was a great second team pass rusher

Ole Miss was ridiculously young last year.

This guy is obviously trolling so I wouldn't get worked up about it. Alabama will be good this year everyone knows it.
