I'm going to appreciate all the awkward backpedaling if this comes to pass.

It will be wonderful if it happens.

I'm worried about the offensive side of the ball. I never thought I would say Mississippi State would be better, but next year, they will be. Don't worry, I'm prepared to eat my words.

If Arkansas can settle our defensive issues then middle of the pack sounds like a good spot to put us. We are losing a ton of defensive talent so we could finish anywhere from 4th (If we come out hot and the West is down a bit) to 10th (if we can't get the defense rebuilt and have to win shootouts).

I would say 8th would be our most likely spot to finish, depending, like I said, on whether our defense can bounce back. No insult intended to the Vols, who should be improved this year, but I see them as a middle of the pack team as well. They have talent but their O-line was woeful last season. It will cost them some games this year if they don't improve.

I agree with this list. LSU is a bit too high, but not a big deal. They are still comfortably behind A&M where they belong.

I give A&M two games before that pitiful excuse of a defense sends you back into hiding again.

State is losing 14 or 15 starters. That's an awful lot to replace and get better.
