This was your first reply in this thread. As mentioned above, UT's win certainly matters.
As far as NIT and CBI (or whatever the frick it's called), you're right, nobody outside that team considers them a champion. But as competetive athletes, I'd say it's more fun to be competing and playing a game you love rather than fricking off in College Station.
