Def not the Honeypossum. He was exposed as a weak link in the NCG when Alabama routinely abused him.

1. Lattimore
2. Murray
3. Mettenberg or McCarron.

Wilson would get #3 if i had more confidence in Arkansas's ability to run the gauntlet. Overall team play plays a part in who wins the Heisman and i just doubt that they have the Oline and complete defense and team depth to ever get it done.

I'd maybe switch 2 and 3, and switch 4 and 7. Overall, good list. All those guys should have a decent shot. I'm definitely agreeing that it's either Wilson or Lattimore

Going to be hard for Cyrus Gray to win the 2012 Heisman as he has run out of eligibility.

DO you know WHY 2nd and 3rd string average more yards per carry and usually run all over the defense late in the games? It's really simple, but let's see if you can figure it out.

Realistically the Heisman has turned into an award for the trendiest offensive skill position on a team that is in contention for a national championship.

Within the SEC I could see McCarron, Lacy, or Murray being the most likely. LSU's Rbs split a lot of time, Matthieu might deserve it but plays defense, and Mett is too much of a new name to garner the season long push necessary.

I don't see an Arkansas player winning it because they probably won't win the SEC (can't beat Bama and lost more than LSU).

And yes, that is an indictment of the legitimacy of the award. I think Wilson will probably be a lot better QB next year than McCarron but McCarron will probably have a lot better shot of winning the award.

I still dont get the Crowell love? I dont follow UGA very well (only watch the big games) and i have never seen him show up. Was he injured later in the year?

Pulled his vagina muscle and never was the same.

All flaming aside, Crowell is a real talent. If he could ever get his head screwed on straight, he could be a serious contender. As it is, don't be surprised to see him off the team before next season even starts. With Georgia bringing in Marshall and Gurley, Richt doesn't need to put up with Crowell's BS.

That would be true if Alabama ran their second back late in games. But we don't, we run our third back. Our second back is used in the meat of a game along with our starter.

By the way, why don't you have a look at his play in the NCG against yalls defense.

I love this attitude towards him. I hope your team has the same opinion in the fall. Will make for a much easier W in Red Stick.
