Didn't CBS have an opening weekend game last year?

They not going to have one this year?

I can't believe I remember this (I remember being at a bar) but they played Vandy on Thurs. night in 2012. I think it was because it was the first year Mizzou played in conference so it stuck with me.

they'll have to choose between UMass @ Florida, App st @ Tennessee, South Alabama @ Miss st, Southern Miss @ Kentucky, or La Tech @ Arkansas.

Yeah. A&M to launch the SECN was on Thursday. We've also played Auburn and Kentucky on Thursday night, though not to open the season.

I didn't think we'd keep doing the Thursday games. That was Spurriers thing.

UCLA/A&M not an option for some reason?

What happened to all the aggies blabbering about their game vs. UCLA chasing TEXAS vs. Notre Dame to Sunday night? (Texas/ND will be nationally televised Sunday night on ABC.)

Poor aggy. I guess now they'll hide under their SEC inbred brethren's skirts again.

Mizzou vs West Virginia

Edit, forgot it was a road game. I'm guessing it will be on A Fox variant

2006 - at Mississippi State - W 15-0
2012 - at Vanderbilt - W 17-13
2014 - Texas AM - L 52-28

Carolina's first 4 seasons in the SEC saw USC open with consecutive conference games (not thursday) against Georgia & Arkansas and went a combined 2-6. it was something that our AD should have addressed with B'ham from the get go. bad recipe to gain any momentum in a season. Carolina/Arkansas was moved back to Oct beginning in '96. UGa moved to week 2 and has largely remained there since.

Spurrier liked the thursday season opener. it doesn't need to be a conference game in any season USC agrees to play in one.

Show me the schedule for the following channels that weekend:

CBS
ESPN2
ESPNU
SEC Network

Wait, what was that? The schedules for those networks haven't been released yet? It's still May?

Maybe you should just shut the frick up when you don't have complete information. (Spoken Chappelle Show-style into four different microphones) SHUT - THE - frick - UP.
