Nope. Florida already forfeited when they refused to do what LSU has done on several occasions in this same situation.

What's bizarre is the narrative that Florida intentionally did this to dodge LSU.

Take a step back and look at the overall picture. I'm invested because this thing could shift AGAIN and hit our state hard too.

I'm honestly surprised were playing our game.

You're not thinking clearly. Florida could be devastated. LSU fans want to make it a conspiracy because it negatively affects their football team.

It's really not hard to see that LSU fans are showing their asses right now. Keep your thoughts with Florida. Then figure it out afterwards.

It's not about football right now. But the game does need to be played later.

You been stirring the pot for 2 days. Shut the frick up.

Competitively, sure it is the best alternative at this point. If Florida agrees to pay LSU's damages, I'm game.

There is no way to pay all the damages.

It isn't a work solution end of story

Then why is every other Florida school playing this weekend?

Sure.

Let's penalize LSU for UF being pussies.

Makes perfect sense.

Everyone knows if LSU pulled some queer shite like this, this board would have a Chernobyl fricking meltdown.

If LSU's best player was out (oh shite he is!) and 3 DL are out (oh shite lost 2 before the season) and we came up with every excuse and postponed until the last minute so the game would be cancelled. But then expect LSU to give up a home game like its no big deal.

frick UF and those fricks down at the league office.

Its because he's right, and everyone not wearing purple and gold glasses knows it.

We showed sympathy, warned them, and they continually insisted all was well and it was just a little rain. That state has the recent memory of all their "near misses" with hurricanes. It's why they got caught off guard and unprepared. They expected the weather to be consistent. It's not. It's a total frick show like the entire Uf administration.

They have our sympathy. They just have it a lot less of it now

If I were LSU I would have to at least have the @A&M game moved from thanksgiving to that Saturday

I'm not saying Florida handled it correctly. The game needs to be played. I completely agree with that.

But the hostility from LSU fans has been insane.

Not that bizarre when you factor in the fact that their starting QB and 5 of their front 7 are hurt

This is the narrative that began at 4 o'clock today. Prior to that it was, "we don't need to consider other venues, this game will be played in Gainesville Saturday at 12pm EST. We are monitoring the situation and are confident the game can go on as scheduled."

Which of course was a lie. Anyone with a brain knew those were invalid conclusions based on the information available all week and, surprise, have been proven correct.

No, the shifting narratives and blatant deceit, along with the obvious nature in which the game benefits FLORIDA's football team, much moreso than LSU really as LSU's road to Atlanta is far more difficult and unlikely. It's called not being a naive idiot.

If you do that, SEC has to agree to pay buyouts.

frick that. If they had any balls they'd have forced Florida to play the game this weekend wherever they had to. Why should we get fricked over because Florida didn't want to play this weekend?

LSU fans have been through this several times. We were screaming to get a plan ready all week yet Florida just sat on their arse and did nothing. The hostility is 100% deserved
