For A&M, is Joekel and Matthews not leaving early? If those two are then their line will be in a serious rebuilding mode and Bama is losing a few including Jones who seems to be the heart of the line for the last few years.
Auburn returns 4 off of a pretty shitty line but the talent is there to be a really good line.
I know LSU return 3 and has upper classmen to replace the two they lose. Any chance Collins moves out to tackle to finish his career or is he staying inside?
UGA returns everybody from a pretty good line so they might be the top unit, especially going into the fall. That running attack might be a force to deal with next year.
The surprise unit might end up being Arkansas. They return all 5 and with Beilema might be hard nosed enough to forge them into a monster.

Really? Didn't think you guys would have had anyone projected top round or second on the line this year. If he could, he would improve a pretty good bit under Bielema.

Tennessee will have one of the best O-lines in the country. They just won't have anyone to run, throw, or catch the ball.

Yeah I'm not sure why he left. He would've definitely gotten better under Pittman and Bielema
I still expect our O-line to be a lot better than last year's though

We only lose Joeckel. We'll slide Matthews to LT and our LG to RT (his natural position). Matthews's little bro will be at center.
It won't be as dominant a unit but it will not be a weakness.

UF will be loaded on the OL...a lot of upperclassmen...senior Center, Guard, probably junior OT, soph OT & junior Guard...all starting experience + three Ol with starting experience as backups.....and a few AA high schoolers waiting to take a job away from someone....Jessamen Dunker is a load and is now r/s frosh Guard.

Give Bielema a year or two and that's gonna be a physical football team. This division and conference just keeps getting tougher and tougher.
He did say when asked what his offensive philosophy would be that the best coaches adapt to the personnel at hand. So it'll be interesting how he uses the current talent until he's able to build the roster he wants. I'd have a hard time believing it'll be much different from the hard nosed offenses he had at Wisky. Either way, I'd expect the offensive line to be a strength

He's hinted at this several times and I expected the wisconsin style offense but then he goes out and hires Chaney as OC. He is a defensive guy by trade but will have influence into all 3 phases. He doesn't call plays on either side of the ball. So this leads me to believe he's fine with opening it up. We'll still run more than Chaney did at UT most likely which is a good thing.

UGA and UT return a lot. TAMU will either be really good or in trouble depending on who returns. LSU brings back 4/5 starters from an O-line that was young but still kicked arse this year. Bama has to hope they're reloading and not rebuilding on the line; money's on reloading, but we'll see.

We only lose our Center but we replace him with a very good one in Waldrop. We return two very very good tackles in Shell and Robinson along with a couple of experienced Guards and, for the first time I can remember, depth all along the line.
I'm looking at the SEC having some very good OLines across the board next season which is why I've been preaching for a couple of years that, when combined with the DLines returning, the SEC is going to be absolutely brutal in the trenches in 2013. Perhaps the best ever top to bottom.

Bielema said this yesterday in his press conference. I'm definitely very interested to see what they come up with.
Bielema offered a clearer picture of the offense he plans to employ in 2013 when asked about the hiring of former Tennessee offensive coordinator Jim Cheney. "It was very apparent to me that the things I'd grown accustomed to at Wisconsin weren't already in the bank here," Bielema observed. "You can't just force feed something into a situation so it was important for me go after a guy that blended a spread style and pro style."
He went on to say that hr wanted to blend things together that they were doing at Wisconsin, Cheney was doing at Tennessee and what we were doing at Arkansas under Petrino.

Those wisconsin offenses were pretty potent until last year and he didn't bring any of that staff with him. I think he is going to achieve great balance here. The only bad news for the new guys is that wilson and mallett's records will remain for a long time most likely.
