Then Auburn should be black listed also for the way Nick Fairley tried to take out Aaron Murray.

Maybe UF should play a real football game prior to your UT game each year.

Your statement seems very entitled.

Add Sam Houston State University. They should change their name to "The Nasty Bunch".

Word needs to get out to smaller schools that if you play dirty against an SEC team, that you won't be getting more big paychecks.

Player safety issue.

The same POS player # 18 also did the same low hit on the SMU QB just 2 weeks earlier and the SMU QB is out for the year...get your heads out of your azzs....it WAS intentional and this POS should be booted or coach fired....that simple.

When you play NTS and this sonabitch takes aim at your QBs knee what will you say then? He was a juco transfer and gets sent in as a headhunter.

Anyone have a gif of the hit or link to video?

I didn't see it.

If NT was intentionally going all Greg Williams on Florida the SEC should definitely take that into consideration for future scheduling.

College players who overtly try to injure opposing players should be banned from the sport.

Dillon Day should have never been allowed to play in another NCAA game after his second stomping incident.

Same goes for cheap/dirty hits where there is clearly and irrefutably an intent to injure.

I'm all in favor of zero tolerance for that crap.

I played rugby in college. It's a very physical game played without pads. The reason there are so few injuries in rugby is that it is a game played by gentlemen with an unwritten code when it comes to tackling that you don't lead with the head or drive a shoulder into a knee.

Football needs more gentlemen and fewer thugs. Banning the thugs from competition would be a good step in the right direction.

Sportsmanship is way undervalued in modern football.

Thanks for the explanation. In all the years I've followed SEC football this is the first mention I've seen or heard of Albert - it's just never come up. It's probably because you don't have a live mascot to go with whoever wears the fuzzy mascot suit all teams have for the kids in the audience.

Did #38 actually intentionally trip the kid? Any other angles of this alleged dirty play?

None of y'all are looking at this from the right persecutive: Teams are FORTUNATE to play the SEC for the big payout. This is a big deal to bite the hand that feeds you.

And what "persecutive" would that be?

Hit didn't look blatantly dirty. Looked like a kid just trying to make a play on the QB.

Why are y'all assuming it was dirty? Because your coach who's known for acting like a fool on the sideline had an instant and irrational reaction?
