Thanks for clarifying. I was wondering if LSU was in with their horrid conference record but obviously had that ranking for a reason.

Yeah it would have been close had they lost to Ole Miss but likely still would have been in. The ITA formula realy doesn’t punish losses that much compared to how much it rewards wins. Ole Miss will be the only SEC team not in the tournament.
Now LSU will likely be a 2 seed (17-32 ranking) in a regional rather than a 3 seed.
I don’t know your answer to the question about the women. I haven’t followed the women’s side as closely this year but will for the tourney for sure
