I have to say Auburn has made quite a jump from last year. So far at least.

Just going off the ESPN RPI page. They still have you at 2-3 so you're RPI is probably higher than this as well.

Auburn continues to surpass Kentucky in basketball. Better recruiting, head to head win, better ranking.

I don't think they use wins vs teams named Charminade when calculating RPI.

Could just be me.

The Houston win helped out A LOT. If Houston can beat Arkansas, it stands to go even much further up.

Nobody coming up on the schedule looks any good by name, but they are all current RPI Top 100 teams:

North Carolina Central
Texas Southern
College of Charleston

Not last!

It's early yet, but MSU may end up being fairly good before the year is over. Lamar Peters came off of the bench for 24 yesterday.

Howland has a big coaching job in front of him, but the talent is there. We just need to see if he can just put it all together.
