something big is going on imo.. I just read that the ACC may be imploding.. apparently a shitload of ACC teams have reached out to the Big 12 in the last day or so..

I’ll try to find the quote. Either way, FSU, Clemson, ND, UNC, UVA were not mentioned in that group reaching out. It also said they thought they had the votes to dissolve.

This may or may not be related..

Here it is MHVER on X
quote:

ACC schools that have contacted B12 in the past 20 hours: VT, Pitt, Cuse, NCST, GT, Miami, Louisville, BC, Wake. There is a LOT of fear and a lot of smoke. There’s also possibly enough votes to dissolve the GOR according to some of those conversations.

Mega conferences about I happen.

Remaining good teams will be divided up between BIG and SEC.

Land grab going on.

depends on your perspective

1 B1G team
1 Future B1G team
1 Future SEC team
1 SEC team

That is the group that made the playoff this year. Coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not. The SEC + B1G are the P2 now. Maybe that is under the NCAA umbrella, maybe it isn’t.. but the precedent has now been set.

Perhaps this was all intentional..

So many insignificant teams. What do they want?

I thought VT, NCST, & Miami were part of the initial 7 to break the ACC GOR.

This didn’t happen in a matter of hours. This has been happening behind closed doors over time

Surprised they haven't already.

The NCAA had over $1Billion in earnings in 2021. One fricking billion. Aaaaaaand they operate as a non profit.

The mafia/cartels, US Govt and the the Vatican blush when thinking about the NCAA's operation. Maybe a few less zero's on the earnings total, but lets just say, "that's a pretty stress free gig".

Big 12 I assume?

I could see all of this happening.. Duke is the one wildcard I’m not sure about, and UNC may have wanted to bring them along
