Big 10 fans....middle of winter, trip to SoCal to break it up...

uhhh frick yeah.

Pac-12 fans too. Cal fans are still pissed off at Mack Brown for Texas cock-blocking Cal from playing in the Rose Bowl.

I won't argue UF not being as excited playing UL tonight but Arky was sure as hell pumped to be there and play OSU a couple years ago.

There are a lot of fans from Big 10 and Pac 12 schools who would give their left nut to see their team play in the Rose Bowl.

We now know why the Rose Bowl is so protective of its matchup, the SEC and Big 12 made their own deal, and the non-AQ nonsense ruined the BCS bowls.

The fact there are now about 35-40 bowls leads to dilution and fatigue. Almost every bowl is played to a sparse crowd and a host of shitty matchups are the norm now

a pathetic excuse from a deluded self entitled fan

if you cant get up for a BCS bowl you dont deserve to be there.

Let me ask you a question. Florida sold 7000 tickets to the Sugar Bowl. When is the last time a school playing in the Rose Bowl sold only 7000 tickets to the game?

I don't even understand all these bowl games myself. A long time ago, a bowl game was treated as a reward for a team having a great season. Now you have teams finishing .500 or under or teams who fired their coaches for performance reasons making bowl games. It's ridiculous. It should get back to the point where making a bowl game is a great enough accomplishment to save a coach's job instead of being so meaningless like it is now.

Sorry we actually played a good team when we went. I apologize.

Oh, how's Clemson's dick taste?

The Alabama-Utah game had a horrible atmosphere that night.

I've been to much better Sugar Bowls in the past with more interesting games. These match ups nowadays just suck.

I've been to a bunch of Sugar Bowls before and I've noticed how the crowds are nothing like they used to be.

What gives?

I went to Notre Dame - Florida in 1992, Alabama-Miami in 1990, Florida-Miami in 2001, and Alabama-Utah in 2009.

The Alabama-Utah game had a ton of seats empty in the upper deck. I get that a lot of their fans were still bummed about losing to florida that year but come on, its still a BCS bowl... that crowd had nothing on the other ones I went to.

I think they really went down when the bowl + Championship game format started.

Actually make it in the game again before you start talking down the superior programs that played in it.

yeah, I'd guess so. the match ups have gone to hell but its just a disappointment to see a good bowl go to shite in attendance also.

If we're as good as this upcoming class is looking to be, we'll make yall proud in 2 or 3 years, if we aren't in the NC. Say what you will about Ole Miss, but we win our damn bowl games.
