Prepare to get a ton of idiotic responses, but the conference did a great job of shutting up the analysts and their whole "ACC is better" nonsense.

Yep ... several of the big name pundit hacks had the ACC sweeping the SEC this weekend.

Let's see them explain this.

Should also point out they weren't ACC stragglers either.

FSU - finished 10-3 last year, was top 5 this year
GT - finished 9-4 last year
NC State - finished 7-6 last year

Soon the ACC will play Kentucky, and possibly score a win or two here and there. That said, these were their big matchups (save AU vs AU jr) until rivalry week.

They were solid arse wins - I'll give the SEC credit for that, because I thought the conference was still a bit down.

FSU is somewhere in the 1 - 3 range of best ACC teams. I think GT and NCSU are roughly 6 and 7, so those three wins are pretty good. Clemson, Louisville, VT, and Miami remain to be seen, but the SEC beat three teams in roughly the top half of the ACC this weekend.

I thought the ACC was picked as the dominant conference this year? I must have read wrong.

Great weekend for the SEC but there's still plenty more games against the ACC

Fair enough. Auburn still has the taterheads to go next weekend ... then the four season ending rivalry games UGA vs Ga Tech, Ky vs Louisville, UF vs FSU and SC vs the taterheads.

Could be interesting.

Everyone conveniently forgets that LSU curbstomped this team into oblivion just a few short months ago.

Clemson will beat Auburn and then the ACC will thump the SEC the last weekend of the regular season and all will be back to normal.

True, but these games were all pretty evenly matched. Hell NC State was predicted to have a banner year and is as talented as they've been in a while.

Auburn will go into the defending national champions home turf, and Louisville will play Kentucky, but this weekend was a good gauge as far as quieting a narrative.

Especially when Jimbo and Dabo stand at the podium and pronounce the ACC as the premier conference.

I watched their game against a Purdue team that won three games last year. Unless the pull a major turn around they're gonna have a lot of curb stomp coming. No O-line and the defense is really suffering from the NFL players they lost. It's gonna be Lamar running for his life trying to pull ish out of his arse again.
