In order of most recent:

2020 Vanderbilt Commodores: 0-9
Mason's seventh and final season at Vanderbilt. The start of the season was delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and the Commodores played a conference-only schedule. The Commodores opened the season with a 17–12 loss at No. 10 Texas A&M; they would go on to lose six of their final eight games by 21 points or more. Their closest game of the season was a 38–35 loss to Kentucky on November 14. Vanderbilt ended the season with a 42–17 loss to rival Tennessee.

1999 South Carolina Gamecocks: 0-11
Holtz's 1st year at South Carolina. Limited to 8 offensive touchdowns. Only one-score game a 10–11 loss to Vanderbilt, played five ranked opponents.

1979 Florida Gators: 0-10-1
First year for Charley Pell. Three one-score losses, two of which were to ranked teams. Tied with Georgia Tech in the home opener.

1955 Alabama Crimson Tide: 0-10
Bart Starr passed for 587 yards and 1 touchdown. Lost every game by 15-plus points.

1950 Auburn Tigers: 0-10
Outscored 31-255.

1949 Mississippi State Bulldogs: 0-8-1
High offensive output of 7 points, done twice, including a 7–7 tie at Clemson.

1948 Texas A&M: 0-9-1
Season finale 14-14 tie at 7-3 Texas.

1946 Florida: 0-9
No notes from Wikipeda.

1936 Sewanee: 0-6-1
Outscored 20–230, earned a scoreless tie against Tennessee Tech.

1934 Missouri Tigers: 0-8-1
Opening scoreless tie at Colorado, would only manage 25 points on the season.

1927 Auburn Tigers: 0-7-2
No notes from Wikipedia.

1916 Florida Gators: 0-5
Outscored 3-95.

1910 Tulane Green Wave: 0-7

If Arkansas had kept Chad we would have had a shot at this prestigious list.

Seeing Florida on this list three times is a reminder that pre-Spurrier, Florida kinda sucked.

Ears Whitworth
"From 1955 to 1957, he coached at Alabama, where he posted a 4–24–2 record, the worst record for a non-interim coach in school history. This included a winless 1955 season, Alabama's last winless season on the field to date, and a 14-game losing streak from 1955 to 1956. In his first year at Alabama, Whitworth was only allowed to hire two of his own coaches and forced to retain the rest of former coach Harold Drew's assistants. This included athletic director Hank Crisp, Whitworth's boss, who was in charge of the defense. Whitworth brought assistant coach Moose Johnson with him from Oklahoma A&M. Following successive 2–7–1 seasons in 1956 and 1957, Whitworth was fired and replaced by Bear Bryant."

I watched some of their games during that season to see what Holtz would do there and was impressed that as bad as it was they had a packed stadium at game time. Hats off to their fans.

I never doubted Lou would turn it around there, at least for a little while like he did here.

Ears Whitworth. 1955 was his first season as Alabama coach. He didn’t improve much after that. His coaching record in three seasons at Alabama was 4-24-2. But, because he was so bad they fired him and hired Bear Bryant. So it worked out.

I think Auburn went 0-10 in 1950.
We were shut out 7 times and lost to Wofford.

Jerry Claiborne’s first season. He got rid of Curci’s criminals. The next year they went to a bowl game. Incredible turnaround.

Carolina was forced to use 4 QBs that season due to injuries - two of which also played WR - the season started off in Raleigh during Hurricane Dennis - like right in the middle of moving over the SC border into NC - and USC actually scored first on a Boo Williams rush TD that was taken off the board by a 'holding' call - and then the injuries decimated the offense and ultimately the season -

it was a talented defense that included Sheldon Brown NFL CB - Andre Goodman NFL CB - Kalimba Edwards NFL DE - and someone by the name of John Abraham who was picked #13 overall and made 5 NFL Pro Bowls over 15 seasons -

one of the most bizarre games in W-B history - and that's saying something -
