Agree, which made me hesitant to give that as an option to anyone other than AU (have to give it as an option to AU for obvious reasons).

Much rather beat Bama. A loss to Florida is less consequence in the SEC west standings.

LSU or Tenn would be UT because it normally helps to beat the East division teams to get to Atlanta, but not always. Case in point 2016.
LSU or FSU would be FSU because we have lost 4 in a row to those queens.

That's what I was thinking too.
I'd always pick beating AU before beating LSU, unless somehow AU was already out of SECW race by time Bama and LSU met. Ultimately, it's about who is the biggest obstacle to the SECCG, but if all things are equal, I'd rather beat AU.

I know outside of UT it's hard to find a "rival" for Vandy, but you could have at least put the biggest opponent on our schedule in Alabama instead of Florida. I'd take UT either way unless we live in some bizarro world universe where Vandy beats Bama and UT doesn't. Even with the head to head loss to UT, it would be fun to bring up the fact that we've beaten Bama more recently than them.
