The whole conference is riding Bama's dynasty dick right now. Without them the SEC would not have been in the playoff conversation this year.
The conference is down because of its success over the past decade or so. The other Big 6 programs are stuck in low gears because of poor coaching choices. Even Bama might be if Saban had retired. Decline always follows great success.
It'll be interesting to see which SEC football program breaks out of this decline trend. Meanwhile we have Saban and Bama to thank for propping up the conference.
And you're right. Gumps just want to win. They don't seem interested in tearing down the conference or their special rivalries within the SEC.

Well, technically it should be competitive to be a rivalry. The fighting Lyles are not a competitive opponent.

Exactly! Can you imagine how Bama fans would act if their AD traded money for rivalries like the admins of Texas, Miami, OU and Nebraska did? The AD would be lynched.

Thanks for trying. So many fans fail to realize the success or failure lie within their own programs, not what Bama does or doesn't do.
How Bama fans act has no impact on your wins and losses.
It far easier to point a finger at something else than to accept your own shortcomings.
Root for Bama or don't, we are pulling for your teams because together we are a stronger conference.
Jokes and fun are part of a forum but it would be much nicer tRant if some here would grow up and stop trolling every post they make.
