Nice post. This thread is nothing more than LSU fans being jealous of Bama's success since Saban arrived. It's really obvious.

You're right.

I'll pray for an asteroid to destroy Bama and Oregon.

We can't beat em, so God may as well smite them.

Do we get more money if Bama wins the national title game and less if they lose the title game?

If so, I may reconsider my asteroid prayers.

Why wouldn't you want your conference to do well? For one, your school gets more money from all the other teams. And you don't like playing in the best conference in the country? Sounds like you'd enjoy LSU being in the big 12 where you can watch your team play Iowa State, Kansas, and Texas Tech. Did you notice that the big 12 got left out of the playoffs? Thanks to the SEC's power, that would never happen now. LSU benefits from a good conference.

After Alabama makes the national title game, then you can pray for your asteroid. But I have to warn you, the chances of it hitting are slim to none. It has failed me in many Tennessee-Auburn match ups.

Yeah. That ($6M-$2M)/14 teams should really push us over the hump, man.

I read the OP sentence by sentence, word by word. After doing so, I reached directly into my down-vote bin, retrieved said down-vote (I think there are 8 such votes as I add mine)and began reading the remaining responses. I hope to determine if my down-vote was warranted.

Yeah after 7 years that shite builds up. It isn't just bowl game revenue, do you think the SEC would have been able to have the SEC Network if we weren't the most popular conference? Why the frick do you think we even added mizou or A&M? Because y'all are good? Do you see any other conferences with national networks raking in money?

Hey. I'm with you on that. The SEC money is great. But Bama being in the title game actually means less to us monetarily than Mississippi State in the Orange Bowl. By a lot.
